Product Lineup: 15 Baby Registry Must Haves

Starting to plan out your baby registry? Don’t know where to start? Then you’ve come to the right place! Read below and click the title for a direct link to my favorite registry items.

1. Carseat & Base

A carseat is a must for bringing your new baby home from the hospital. It’s a great idea to register for this item and mark it as a must have. We chose the Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat in Orion. I love that this carseat includes the base and it has awesome reviews. We have been using it for six months now and haven’t had any issues. It’s super simple to use and I love the neutral color of it. Our daughter was late pre-term and tiny at 6lbs 1oz and she still fit great in this seat. Plus, the installation is a breeze. 2. Baby Basics Care Kit by FridaBaby

This care kit is awesome and has all of the necessities to help care for your infant. This set Includes the NoseFrida, NailFrida, Windi, DermaFrida & Silicone Carry Case. We especially love the nail clippers and they make the scary task of trimming your baby’s nails so much easier. Click here for product.

3. Haakaa Manual Breast Pump

If you’re planning on breast feeding, this manual breast pump is a must have. You can easily suction this on the opposite side that you’re feeding your baby on and catch your let down. It was so simple to build a stash with this handy pump and it’s also so much easier to clean than a standard breast pump. Click here for product.

4. Dr. Brown’s Original Bottle Newborn Feeding Set

We tried tons of bottles for Violet but we always went back to this set. Not only do these help to prevent gas, colic and spit up, but they also have a vent system that removes air from the milk. We also had no issues switching between this and breastfeeding. The ONLY downside to these is that there’s a lot of parts to clean. But I’d gladly take that over a gassy baby! 5. SwaddleMe Original 3-Piece Swaddle

I got this 3-pack of swaddles for Violet. These made swaddling a breeze and she wasn’t able to houdini her way out of these as easily as others. I liked these a lot better than the one that the hospital gave us because there wasn’t so much extra fabric, giving us a lot more peace of mind. It’s also helpful to have multiples on hand just in case of accidents. Click here for product.

6. Chicco KeyFit Caddy Frame Stroller

This is one of my all time favorite items from our registry and we use it daily. The car seat can get really heavy after a while so I love that I can easily pop the carseat in this stroller and go. It’s also especially helpful during those first few weeks of recovery so you don’t have to worry about carrying the carseat and straining yourself. We also purchased a BOB stroller but haven’t even used it much yet due to the ease of the caddy. Click here for product.

7. Hatch Baby Rest Sound Machine

I love that this sound machine combines nightlight, sound machine and time-to-rise all from the comfort of your phone. You can easily program different settings and program it to automatically turn on and off based on your schedule. It also has a ton of colors and sounds to choose from, making the possibilities endless. I also love that it grows with your child with the nightlight and time-to-rise feature, which will be awesome once your baby gets older. Click here for product.

8. Ergobaby Carrier

This is my husband’s favorite item. He loves carrying Violet in this and showing her off. Not only is it super easy, but it’s also comfortable for both parent and baby. I especially love that it supports baby to toddler (up to 45 lbs.) This carrier allows you to carry the baby in all positions, allowing your baby to face out and see the world. It also has a breathable mesh to help keep you and your baby cool. Click here for product.

9. Portable Sound Machine

I know what you’re thinking…another sound machine. But seriously, hear me out. This is one of the items that I swear by. I use this all around the house to help Violet get sleep when her crib isn’t an option. I also pack it every time we leave the house to help her get sleep while we are on the go. This makes naps a breeze and the rechargeable battery can last all night long. Click here for product.

10. Pack ‘n Play Playard

I didn’t want to have a ton of baby items that I’d only use for a couple of months so I ditched the idea of a bassinet. Instead, I opted for this Pack ‘n Play that has a removable, full size bassinet that provides a safe spot for your baby to sleep. I still use this next to our bed at six months and I love that we can easily pack it up when traveling. It’s also perfect for transitioning to playtime once your baby grows out of the bassinet. 11. Ubbi Diaper Pail

I read a lot of mixed reviews about whether or not to buy a diaper pail but I’m so glad I did. I love this diaper pail and it does a great job of locking in the odor due to the steel material. You also save a ton of money since no special bags are needed, meaning you can use any trash bag on the market. It also features a child proof lock to keep little hands out. Click here for product.

12. Hatch Baby Grow Smart Changing Pad and Scale

This changing table was a lifesaver during the first few months of Violet’s life. She was having trouble making it on the growth chart so this scale gave us peace of mind. It’s super easy to use and connects to an app on your phone that saves all of your data so you can track your baby’s weight gain between doctor’s visits. It’s also super comfy and easy to wipe clean, making diaper changes a breeze. Click here for product.

13. 4moms mamaRoo 4 Baby Swing

This is one of those items that you try to talk yourself out of due to the price but seriously, get it. I put it on our registry expecting not to receive it but I’m so happy we did. It was a LIFESAVER those first few weeks and soothed Violet right to sleep. You can also change the angle of the seat to your baby’s liking. The design is also minimal and doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb like most other baby products. Click here for product.

14. Baby Monitor

We love this baby monitor due to its ease of use and portability to carry the monitor around the house. You can also easily zoom in to get a closer view and make sure your baby is okay. The sound is also great and you can adjust the volume as needed. It also displays the room temperature in the top right corner, which is a nice bonus feature. Click here for product.

15. Fisher-Price Deluxe Kick ‘n Play Piano Gym

This is one of those items that I swore I would never get, but alas, my baby loves it. At first, I opted for an aesthetically pleasing baby mat that my baby ended up hating. I noticed that she loved kicking her feet so I decided to give this play mat a try, despite my fear of primary colors. And let me tell you…GAMECHANGER. This thing keeps her entertained for hours if I let it and she loves kicking her feet against the piano. You can also remove the piano once your baby outgrows the mat, making this product a steal for the price. Click here for product.

There you have it folks…My top 15 Registry Must Haves. Let me know if you end up getting any of these items and how they work out for you!
